The National Art Honor Society was established in 1978 in the United States by the National Art Education Association for high school students of grades 10 to 12, for "the purpose of inspiring and recognizing those students who have shown an outstanding ability in art", as the association states. The NAHS assists student members to attain their highest potential in all forms of art, and to raise awareness of art education throughout the school and community.
NAHS members are eligible for multiple scholarships as well as other opportunities, such as international exhibition participation privileges and several awards. For more information, see the official National Art Education Association website |

mission and vision |
Our mission is to become an honor society that exemplifies excellence as global citizens through five pillars (artistic abilities, character, creativity, leadership and service), creating socially responsible solutions and inspiring others through the work we do.
We will create an honor society that honors outstanding students, creating a strong team of artists and leaders that are willing to make a change inside and outside our community via the visual arts. |
"Our mission is to empower our students to pursue their passion for learning, lead lives of integrity and create socially responsible solutions." — Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt Mission
